Meet Cassandra Healy
Speech Pathologist
Bachelor of Speech Pathology
Cassandra completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle (Graded Honours First Class) and is a certified member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Cassandra was born and raised on the Central Coast, and enjoys providing support to local families, communities, and schools.
She has worked within the disability space, gaining experience in the areas of hearing loss, vision loss, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. She has also enjoyed opportunities to work in rural communities, including rural acute care, infant feeding, and outreach services in indigenous communities.
Cassandra is passionate about early intervention and supporting children to reach their full communicative potential. She is proficient in conducting assessments and therapy for speech, language, feeding, and fluency disorders. Cassandra enjoys running group programs including baby groups, early language, and literacy groups.
Cassandra has a particular clinical interest in helping children with feeding difficulties, speech sound disorders, and/or oral motor delays. She strongly believes in providing a family-centered, collaborative, and neuro-affirming approach to assessment and therapy in order to achieve the best developmental outcomes.
