Meet Madeline Alexander (Maddy)
Speech Pathologist
Bachelor of Speech Pathology
Maddy completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Australian Catholic University and is a certified member of Speech Pathology Australia. She also holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre from Brent Street (2019), which sparked her love for creativity, playfulness, and authentic expression. Outside of work, Maddy enjoys cooking, family outings, planning her next DIY home project, and writing poetry. She brings an electric sense of joy to everything she does and hopes it inspires those around her.
Maddy has experience working with young children in early intervention as well as supporting individuals within the disability space. Her clinical background includes working with children with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and supporting older adults with acquired communication conditions.
Early intervention is where Maddy’s heart truly lies. She is passionate about helping young children express themselves and make sense of the world around them. She recognises the incredible capacity children have for growth and change, and feels privileged to be part of their speech therapy journey. For Maddy, progress is not just about communication skills—it’s about watching confidence and self esteem flourish.
Maddy has a particular clinical interest in supporting children with speech sound disorders and motor speech disorders. She is committed to a family centred approach to goal setting, ensuring therapy is tailored to each child’s unique needs and circumstances. Collaboration is central to her practice; she values working closely with families, educators, and other allied health professionals so that progress can be seen across all areas of a child’s daily life.
